She was born Thursday, January 28, 1937, the daughter of the late Harry and Olive (Swanson) Bush. Anita was a registered nurse for thirty-eight years, retiring from Marion General Hospital. She loved to travel, especially with her lifetime friends from Augustana College, and to spend time with her family. She loved children and animals.
Survivors include her children, Ellen Strom Daniels, Jacob Strom, Rebecca (Fred) Apodaca, Joel (Mary) Strom; granddaughters, Hannah Strom and Victoria Apodaca; nephew, Scott Bush; and niece, Jackie Genuit.
She was preceded in passing by her loving husband, Carl Shepherd; parents; and brother, Thomas Bush.
