Sarah had a very special place in my heart I had found out today about her passing and just broke down 😢 she was always happy and cheerful, helpful with a big heart the moment I found out I felt a piece of me shatter..I will always cherish the time we had together I wish I could have seen her one more time..Rest Easy Sarah I love you♥️ I hope Sam and Emma are doing ok sending hugs and prayers🤗🙏

Condolences to the Lacour and Banks families. Sarah was one of my favorite Bedford colleagues.. kind, supportive, so incredible at her job. I believe that she is reunited with Kenny, happiness during this sad time. Prayers for you all.

It was my honor to work with Sarah in East House at FLMS some years ago. She was smart & caring and had a wonderful way with students & teachers alike. I am very saddened to hear of her passing. My prayers & thoughts to her family.

She was a very fine woman, and in all my encounters with her she was positive and uplifting. If I said something that was off base in some way she would raise an eyebrow and give me a look that told me to rethink.

Sarah I remember the day we met outside our Dobbs Ferry Apartment complex, some 30 years ago. We raised our children together and after all these years the boys have stayed best friends. It was with great sadness that I read of Sarah’s death this morning.  She was my first truly loved student and I have carried my memories of her in my heart to this day.  Her enthusiasm for life and her joy at participating in all around her were extraordinary.  My condolences to the entire Banks and LeCour families.

They say the strength of a woman is doubled in a sister and Sarah, you were more than just my best friend, you were my sister.
