William Bowlby Strosnider Sr.

William Bowlby Strosnider Sr., age 77, of Core, West Virginia passed away at 10:15 AM on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Mon Health Center, Morgantown, WV. Bill was born December 26, 1945 in Morgantown, West Virginia, a son of the late Donley Ralph "DR" Strosnider and Kathleen Long Strosnider. Bill attended and was a member of The Morgantown Revival Center. He was a veteran, having served in the US Air Force from 1963-1967. Bill retired from Chapman and Chapman as a laborer and was a member of the Laborers Union. On September 21, 1967 he married the love of his life, Sheila Kelly. Bill loved spending time with his family, woodworking, farming and visiting their cabin at Shenandoah River. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Jim and John Earl Strosnider, and a Grandson William Bowlby Strosnider III at age 5. Left to navigate in his absence are his wife Sheila, 2 Sons: William Strosnider II and his wife Carol and David Strosnider and his wife Michelle, all of North Carolina, 1 Daughter: Lee Ann Strosnider of Core, WV, 5 Granddaughters: Tiffany, Heather, Dynasty and Fiance Gavin, Kelli and Jerri Strosnider, 1 Grandson: Cayden Andrew Strosnider and 1 Great-Grandson: Beau Harr due in August. There will be visitation held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the time of service at the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 324 Mt. Morris Rd. P.O. Box 478, Mt. Morris, PA 15349 Shane M. Ayers, Director with Pastor Tim Kelly officiating. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
