She was born on April 9, 1931 in Bald Hill, PA to the late Charles and Elizabeth Dusenberry. She was a longtime resident of Mount Morris, where she graduated high school. She married Michael Pallai on October 9, 1954. During Michael’s military service, she served alongside him; they relocated to many different states, including Hawaii. She was Methodist by faith and was a member of the Mount Morris United Methodist Church for many years. She volunteered for the Red Cross for 25 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was called Mema by many.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, Diane Pratt and spouse, Murray, Elizabeth Korzun and spouse, Timothy, and Michael Pallai; sister, Marjorie Lewellen; five grandchildren, Michael T. Pallai, Lisa Pratt, Clayton Pratt, Cassie Pratt and Jeremiah Hendershot; three great-grandchildren, Josh, Maddie, and Amy; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Jackie Donley and Glenn Dusenberry.
Visitation will be held at Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, 324 Mount Morris Road, Mount Morris, PA 15349 on Monday, June 19 from 4 PM until 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 20 at 11:30 AM; burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Mount Morris.
