Melva Reeves Dykes

Visitation will commence on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Hixson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff from 4:00PM until 9:00PM. The visitation will continue on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the funeral home from 10:00AM until Christian Service at 1:00PM. Rev. Robert Kratzer will officiate. Burial will follow at Old Ritchie Cemetery.

Survivors are: A son; James Allen Dykes, 1 Brother; Charlie Reeves, 1 Sister; Jenny Powell, all of Moss Bluff. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren; Nichole Knippers, Chris Dykes and 5 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband; Kenneth Ray Dykes, parents; John Reeves and Asilee Koonce Reeves, 1 son; Roland Roy Dykes, 1 daughter; Johnnie Raye Dykes, 4 brothers; Ward, Henry, Buck, and Leonard Reeves, 4 Sisters; Velma Haggett, Saline Stout, Esther Ziefle, and Irmie Reeves.
