Larry Lynn Martin, Sr., age 82, of Ragley, Louisiana went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 2, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born in Orange, TX. Larry was born on October 3, 1940.
Larry proudly served in the U.S. Navy before beginning his career as an electrician, and he was a member of IBEW Local Union 861. He was a longtime member of Topsy Baptist Church. Larry loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren, great grandchildren and church family.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Adrienne Marie Martin, his parents, A.W. Martin and Beulah Martin, and a sister, Cecil Barrett.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son; Larry (Karen) Martin Jr., three daughters; Cathy (Larry) Ravia, Tina (Leonard) Gray, Donna (Keith) Foreman, all of Ragley, LA.; eight grandchildren, Ashley, Kevin, Larry III, Erica, Joshua, Justin, Cody, and Bo; thirteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends beginning 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 and will resume from 8:00 a.m. until time of service on Thursday.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2023 with Rev. Lloyd Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley.
