Dianne spent the majority of her life in Gillis. After retiring from her role as a P.E. teacher at Moss Bluff Middle School, she then ran the family business, CAN-IT Inc. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Annie Stakes; her husband, Thomas Ray Busby; brothers, Henry Stakes and Lloyd Glenn Stakes; and sister, Betty Downey.
