David Allen Lohr

He was born in New Iberia, LA. on June 2, 1944 to parents Roy A. Lohr and Myrtle Kelley Lohr. He enjoyed motor cycle riding, hunting, fishing, and dancing to Zydeco music. He was especially proud of his military service in the United States Army.

He is survived by his sister, Ruth Viator of New Iberia, LA; along with many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, William Lohr, John Robert Lohr, Lloyd Lohr, Guy E. Lohr, Sr. along with one sister, Ester Lohr Hart.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff at 12:00pm with Pastor Dwayne Daigle officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff that day from 10:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley.
