She was a retired Calcasieu Parish School Teacher for over 25 years.
Survivors include her husband, William Hauskins; daughter, Dr. Lori Gober and husband, Curtis of Moss Bluff, LA; son, Michael Plack Hauskins of Austin, TX; sister, Doris Babb of Portland, OR; brothers, R.E. (Micky) Benham of Westlake, LA, Bill Benham and wife, Judy of Baton Rouge, LA, Jim Benham and wife, Dottie of Phoenix, AZ; sister in law, Joyce Babb of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Kelsey, Denver, Lucas and Elizabeth Gober; great grandchildren, Ella and Cohen Gober. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Bob Babb.
Her Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Westlake Methodist Church with a reception and visitation to follow. Rev. Betty Northern will officiate.
