Steven Craig Hendrickson passed away on January 7, 2024 in Olympia, WA after a valiant fight with several health issues.
Steven and his wife, Janet, were high school sweethearts and, choosing not to have children, adopted rescue dogs to love and care for. They traveled together, loved theater and cooking together. He was also fond of music and played the clarinet.
Steven was preceded in death by his wife, Janet, sister, Mary Adams, and parents, Clifford and Pearl Hendrickson. He is survived by his sister, Ardith Fletcher, brothers, Scott and Paul Hendrickson, several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held sometime this spring. Steve was a very nice man and will be missed. No flowers are requested, but if you’d like, you can make a donation to Rescue Ranch in Yreka, CA or your local animal rescue shelter.
