Chester Walker

He married Beatrice I. Pierce on July 19, 1941. Together, they had six children, three sons and three daughters. He is survived by daughters Dorothy(Wayne) Wade, Napavine, WA, Fern McKee, Mossyrock, WA, Donna (Pat) Emerson, Morton, WA, sons Ron (Kathy), Mesa, AZ and Lonnie (Vicki), Morton, WA. Papa Chet will be greatly missed by seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-granddaughters. He is also survived by his only sister, Evelyn Lane, Thomasville, MO.

He was preceded in death by his wife, a son, two granddaughters, his parents and all six brothers: Ernest, Earl, Raymond, Eugene, Sherm and Everett.

A funeral service for Chester Walker will be held Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Brown Mortuary, Morton Chapel, at 11:A.M. Pastor Bill Shepherd will officiate. Private family viewing will be held from 9:30a.m.until 10:30a.m. the day of the service. Burial will be at the Morton Cemetery immediately after the service. A luncheon will be provided by the Women of The First Church of God, Morton, at the church, immediately after the services. Potluck dishes are welcome.
