William R. Butler

He was of the Baptist Faith. Bill was the bus driver for Ridgeview Terrace in Rutledge for many years where he enjoyed the fellowship of the residents and his coworkers. He was a Veteran of the US Army, serving three years, most of which was in Germany.

Preceding him in death are his parents: Stanley and Elizabeth Butler of Pylesville, Maryland; brother: Norman and wife, Gloria Butler of Hersheys, PA.; and nephew: Kevin Butler of Lewisberry, PA.

Bill leaves his wife of 54 years, Linda Butler; Brother: Kenneth, wife Joan Butler, of Lewisberry, PA; Nieces: Barbara and Rebecca Butler of PA; brother-in-law: Bobby, wife Rose of Bean Station.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, Nov. 4, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Randy Morgan officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 AM, Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022 at Fannon-Rosenbalm Cemetery, Tazewell, for an 11:00 AM graveside service.
