Virginia Williams

VIRGINIA M. “SIT” WILLIAMS, age 82 of Morristown, went to be with her Savior on Sunday, June 25, 2017. She was born on December 10, 1934 in Hamblen County, TN and was a member of New Hope Gospel Church. Virginia was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother who loved everyone.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mattie Matthews; two brothers, Charles Matthews and William (Bill) Matthews of Morristown; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, C.D. (Jean) Williams. She is survived by Francis Williams her cherished husband of 62 years; beloved sons, Eddie (Karen) Williams of Morristown and Bobby Williams of Russellville and his special friend Connie Myers; grandchildren, Clint (Candie) Williams, Colt Williams of Morristown, Lynette of Knoxville; great granddaughter, Charcy Williams of Morristown; sisters, Ruby (Jack) Daniels of Mohawk and Earlene (Wesley) Haun of Ohio; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Glen Dockins of Captive Free Ministries and Pastor Sonny Davis of Frenwood Baptist Church officiating.

Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28 in Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown.
