Rushia MaRhea Jones

Rushia MaRhea Jones, age 84, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. She attended Way of the Cross Church. Preceding her in death was her husband, Otis “Bud” Jones; grandson, Isak Zeth Garretson; father, Rhea Minor; mother, Flossie Luther; son-in-law, CW Moore; sisters, Pauline Wynn and Kathryn Curtis; and brothers, Norris Rhea “Goff” Minor and Franklin “Gull” Minor.

Survivors include daughters, Sheila Moore and Pam (Westley) Garretson; son, Steve (Tina) Jones; grandchildren, Kelley Moore, Craigg Moore, Blake Garretson, Zak (Brianna) Garretson, T T (Amanda) Garretson, Derrick (Megan) Jones; great-grandchildren, ElleyJoe Duncan, Austin LeFevers, Taylor Brooke Seals, Cooper Moore, Zayden, Zeelynd, Zander, Zion and Zyleigh Garretson, Kambree and Kallum Garretson, Millie and Myah Garretson, Hailey and Connor Jordan; great-great-grandchild, Camden LeFevers; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 5-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Sonny Davis officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Sunday at 1:45 pm for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service.
