He was a Veteran of the US Army and retired from PFG Hale after many years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents: William and Dell Taylor, sisters:Lucille Short, Edith "Pug" Ferell and brother: Robert "Cecil" Taylor.
Roger is survived by his wife: Tonja Taylor, sister: Linda "Ninnie" (Bill) Hayes; children: David Taylor, Jonathan (Brandy) Taylor, Brandy (Charlie) Hammack, Jason Taylor, and Kaylee Taylor. Grandchildren: Kristen (John) Klank, Cain, Zackery, Emily, Allison, Dillen, Tanner, Nova, Phoenix "Scooter" and great grandchild: Kari Jo.
His family will receive friends on Sat. Jan. 21, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 6:00 PM.
