Robert "Bob" Hayes

Robert “Bob” Hayes, age 89 of Bulls Gap, went to be with the Lord at his home on Friday, April 24, 2015. He was a member of Mosheim Missionary Baptist Church and a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Bertha Hayes; brothers, Eugene Hayes, Ernest Hayes and Elmer Hayes; sisters, Ruth Sauceman and Maggie Short.

Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Pearl Hayes; sons, Tony (Kay) Hayes, Mike (Vonda) Hayes; daughter, Brenda Sullivan; brother, J.D. Hayes; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 27th from 6 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow, officiated by Rev. Dennis Alder and Rev. Darrell Alder. The family will meet at Stubblefield on Tuesday, April 28th at 9:15 a.m. to go in procession to Philippi Cemeteryfor a 10 am graveside.
