Richard Dale Moore

Richard Dale Moore, age 74, of Morristown, TN., formerly of Lenore, WV, went to be with the Lord the Lord on March 12th, 2021. He was born on Nov. 21, 1946. He was of the Baptist Faith and he worked in the coal mining industry for forty two years. He was a member of the WV National Guard for thirteen years. He enjoyed hunting, playing basketball and motorcycle riding.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Henry Moore Jr. and Macel (Evans) Moore and a brother-in-law; Warren Dempsey Jr. (Bill).

He is survived by his wife of fifty five years, Connie (Dempsey) Moore, of Morristown, TN. Sons; Michael Moore, David Moore and Liam Moore all of Morristown. He is also survived by sisters-in-laws; Faye Mounts (late Walter Mounts), Sandra Runyon (Billy) all of Lenore WV.; brother in law; Charles Dempsey (Wendy) of Arnoldsville, GA, Paul Dempsey (Joey) of Lenore, WV. He was the proud grandfather of six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be announced at a later date, Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
