Raymond Lester Oxendine is now with our Heavenly Father after a year’s battle with stomach cancer. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Helen Oxendine; son, Raymond (Chris) Oxendine; daughters, Vicky (Jeff) Landrum, Laura (Chuck) Higgins; sisters, Lana (Dave) Masterson, Linda (Louis) Gonzalez; brother, Clyde (Linda) Busler; step-children, Cindy Jenkins, Michael McCoy, Bobby Good; grandchildren, Buddy Kinsler, Chalie Higgins, Megan Jones, and John Landrum; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 6 – 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Scott Helton presiding. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Hamblen Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 3030 Bethel Rd, Morristown, TN 37813. Arrangements are by Stubblefield Funeral Home.
