Ray Mills

Ray Mills, age 78, of Bean Station, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of Big Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Keaton Mills, mother of Michael and Rodney Mills; wife, Hazel Stubblefield Mills; and parents, Guy and Nellie Lawson Mills.

Survivors include his sons, Mike Mills and Rodney (Melissa) Mills; brother, Harold Bruce (Ina) Mills, Horace (Joyce) Mills, Billy Joe (Janice) Mills; sisters, Lucille Gilbert, Bina Faye (Ron) Winkles; grandchildren, Craig, Kayla, and Dakota Mills; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Rev. David Helton will officiate. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. to go in procession to Hamblen Memory Gardens for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening prior to the service.
