Nancy Inez Elkins

Nancy Inez Kinsler Elkins, 84 years old, of Midway TN, passed away on Thursday 9/29/2022 surrounded by her family. She was a member of Fox Branch Church in Kyles Ford TN which was built on land given by her grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Hal Elkins of Midway TN. Daughter Selena Elkins Lawson of Morristown TN (Scott). Stepchildren Elaine Elkins of Morristown TN, Randall Hal Elkins of Morristown TN (Marguerite). Grandchildren Jesse, Jenna and Jules Lawson. Sisters: Anne Kinsler and Minnie Kate Kinsler. Several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jess and Goldie Kinsler of Kyles Ford TN. Special sister Nola Kinsler Stewart, and several brothers and sisters from Kyles Ford TN. Grandson Randall Hal Elkins II.

She was retired from American Enka/Lenzing Fibers after 42 years and 5 months of service and a long time member of the textile workers union. She loved flowers and growing them, prowling through antique stores for treasures, cooking huge holiday meals and special occasion cakes and above all spending time with her grandchildren whom she adored. She was a beautiful woman who had no problem speaking her mind, and she loved her family courageously with unflinching grace. We are all the better for it.

Receiving of friends will be Monday October 3, from 6-8PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, Oct. 4 at Hamblen Memory Gardens with Rev. Mike Elkins officiating.
