Mildred Marie Wilder, age 82, of Rogersville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 23, 2020 following a brief illness. She was a member of Walkers Missionary Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, J. F. and Ola Pearl Hawkins; and sister, Betty Shanks.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Rev Hubert Wilder; son, Greg (Kathy) Wilder; daughter, Teresa (John) Tunnell; grandchildren, Eric (Katie) Wilder, Aaron (Tiffany) Wilder, John (Christy) Tunnell II, and Bridgette Davis; great-grandchildren, Haven, Shay, Kendal, Emma, Abel, and Parker; sister, Mary Nolen; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Jamie Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
