He was a member of Binghamtown Baptist Church in Middlesboro, Ky and attended there until his declining health of several strokes.
Mike was a former employee of American Enka/BASF and retired from JTEKT Corporation. He was the owner/instructor of Cameron Connection and Mike's Shooting Shop. He was a farmer and raised Beefmaster and Limousin Cattle. He and his family and hunting friends, enjoyed traveling across the country to hunt deer and antelope, with Wyoming being the most favorite state. He enjoyed giving handgun classes and he and his wife were blessed to meet many special people.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 51 years, Brenda Parker Cameron; son: Lucas (Abby) Cameron; grandchildren: Aliyah Mae and Madalynn Ruth Cameron, Jonathon David Cameron and his mother, Nikki Cameron. Sisters-in-law: Phyllis Long, Chasity Ballinger, Missy (Jeff) Gulla, Cheryl Parker; brothers-in-law: Frank (Diane) Parker, Terry Parker and Janice. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death b his special parents: Horace Eugene and Velma Ruth Noe Cameron. Grandparents: Clyde and Bertha Bates Noe and Carl and Lockie Fay Cameron. Father-in-law: John Albert Parker, mother-in-law and stepfather-in-law: Thelma and Guy Ballinger; brothers-in-law: Dennis Long, Danny and Norman Parker. Special church friend: Doug Hoskins of Middlesboro, KY. Former hunting buddies: Bobby Haun, Cecil Edwards, Charlie Smith, Jerry Bible and Larry Busler. Several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mike was a compassionate and loving christian husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved everybody and had a heart to help anyone to his greatest ability. His greatest joy was being a good a dad to his son and taking him hunting and teaching him about Jesus and staying involved with his activities.
He was a dedicated worker and met and made many friends through his lifetime. He will be truly missed and will always be in our hearts and on our minds until we are together again in heaven.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Stubblefield Funeral Home with Dr. William, Rev. Boyd and Gary Bingham officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, May 20, 2024 in Hamblen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
