MADGE MARIE CARTER, age 91 of Bulls Gap formerly of Morristown, went to be with the Lord at 5:29 a.m. on Saturday, April 24 at her residence. She was a member of Mooresburg Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Carter; son, Jesse Carter and grandson, David Carter. She is survived by her daughter, Nona Joan Watson; 4 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren; special niece, Carolyn Kite (husband Jerry) and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 8:00 P.M. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Carpenter officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 29 in Hamblen Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside.
