Linda Darlene Stines

Linda Darlene Stines, age 56, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 21, 2017 after a lingering illness. She was a member of Fernwood Baptist Church. Linda was employed at Howmet for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Buell Stines; grandparents, Mack and Stasha Buell; brother, Steve Stines; and sister, Janice Courtney.

Survivors include her father, Daniel “Don” Stines; sister, Rhonda (Steve) Stines Masoner; brothers, Gary (Diane) Stines and Rick Stines; nieces, Shelby and Morgan Masoner; nephews, Josh and Matt Stines; great-nephew, Shade; loving pup, Layla; special friends, Lisa Long and Faye Williams; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 5 – 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. James Billings officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25 for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service in Hamblen Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation or American Heart & Lung Association.
