Linda Faye Collins

Linda Faye McGinnis Collins, age 71, of Morristown, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2019 after a long battle with kidney failure. She attended The Avenue Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Collins; and parents, Porter and Sally “June” McGinnis; grandparents, Juette and Flossie McGinnis, Polly and Alta Coffey; brother-in-law, Claiborne Rucker; and several aunts and uncles.

Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey (Lori) Collins and Gregory Collins; daughter, Crystal (Larry) Boatman; grandsons, Tanner and Casen Collins, Zachary Chandler; sisters, Kathy (Mark) White, Cindy (Jack) Hazeltine, Portia Russell; brother, Scotty McGinnis; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 5-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Brother Robert Hamilton officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2020 to go in procession to Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services at 11:00 a.m.
