Lillie Sue Courtney, age 66, of Morristown, passed away, Thursday, June 29, 2021, at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her parents; Floyd and Hattie Jordan, son; Richard Darrell Courtney, mother-in-law; Ruth Odessa Courtney, brothers; James, Clifford, Johnny, Paul and Bill Jordan and sister; Pearl Whitehead. Survivors include her husband; Richard Courtney, daughters; Tonya (Garry) Kelley and Laura (Trent) Frye, brother; Max Jordan, sister; Annie (Harold) Carson, grandchildren; Colin (Madison) Kelley, Taylor (Karli) Kelley, Mason Kelley, Tristin Frye, Grayson Frye and Easton Frye, great grandchild Sawyer Kelley.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Friday, July 2, 2021, 5:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Long officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Stubblefield Funeral Home to go in procession to Catherine Nenney Cemetery for an 11 a.m. graveside service.
