Joyce K Turner, born February 1, 1951, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital in Knoxville. She was a charter member of Parkway Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Lea-Wayne Knitting Mills. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Hazel Johnson; and brother, Terry Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Ken Turner; sons, Andy (Beki) Turner and Brian (Christan) Turner; grandchildren, Donovan, Drayton, Ava and Jake; sister, Judy Long; sister-in-law, Beki Johnson; brother and sister-in-law, Jess and Barbara Turner; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews; and her church family.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 5-7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Elkins officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. graveside service.
