John W. Mullins, 82, of Morristown, TN, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014. He had been employed by BASF of Morristown for 32 years. He was a member of the Brown Springs Baptist Church of Mosheim. He was the son of the late Stella Mae Carpenter, wife of Ben Mullins; husband to the late Mary 'Lois' Mullins; father to the late John David Mullins and Vicki Mullins; father–in-law to Marica Mullins and Jack Sauceman; brother to Douglas Mullins, the late Peggy Munsey, the late Lola Epperson, the late Cloda Bailey, and the late Bennie Mae Ferguson, the late Jessie Mullins, Ben Jr Mullins, and the late Terry Mullins; son-in-law to Alice Hamic; brother-in-law to the Linda Mullins, the late Bill Munsey, Hildred Hamic, Charlie and Gloria Cate, Bonnie Wilt, the late Ray and Billie Ruth Hamic and the late June Purser; grandfather to Daniel and Heather Mullins, Richard and Becca Mullins, Patrick Mullins and Elizabeth; great-grandfather to Hunter David Mullins and Caleb Aiden Mullins; grandnephew Scotty Munsey; nieces and nephews: Mary Alice Surber, Janice Snodgrass, Johathan Hamic, Patricia Bratiger, Debbie Franz, Linda Harris, Robert Oliver, Richard Duncan, Mike Duncan, Ande Munsey, Darlinda Myers, Jackie Ferguson, Doug Mullins, Stacy Mullins and Tracy McLain, David, John, Gary, William Wilt and Barbara Gerber, Jessica Mullins, Dean Mullins, Melissa Bunch, Stephanie Weaver, Michelle Kitts, BJ Mullins, and Shannalee Mullins; and so many friends and family he loved.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Long officiating. Family and friends will meet in St. Paul Cemetery at 8:50 a.m. on Thursday for a 9:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 – 7:00 p.m. prior to the services.
