When Jason and I moved to Morristown, Joe and Tammy were our first friends here. They met us right away when we walked into FBC Morristown, placed us under their wing, and loved us. Our girls are the same age, and they made sure our whole family was taken care of and loved on. They are both the most precious people. Joe and I then were able to work together at Amedisys hospice. He had such a hospice heart. Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Joe was a wonderful husband and father to all of my grandchildren. I knew that he always treated my daughter with love and respect. I was proud to have him as part of our family, and he was also my friend. A person could not ask for more than that for his family. I was blessed to have him and enjoy being apart of his life as his father in law. 


I'm so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. He was always so nice to me when we were training together when I first got hired with SOCAT. I enjoyed his stories and listening to him talk. My warm wishes are with you during this difficult time. 

I had the honor of meeting Mr. Joe at our recent SOCAT Retreat. We were "Team Yellow" and he was amazing to partner with and learn more about therapy from. He made a significant impact on not only the family and peers he worked with, but also to other SOCAT team members across the State. My sincerest condolences and prayers go out to the family during this time. 

Dear Joe,
Thank you for taking the pictures of Hailey and Madison as little girls in pearls with teacups. You did not know you were looking into your own daughters eyes. No father did a better job of loving, guiding, smiling, giving a handful of flowers, or giving a cup of coffee to mimi. Wayne always left your home knowing you cherished our daughter and  protected all of our grandchildren everyday for fourteen years. Now you will be guiding us from heaven.

I’ve been thinking about Joe ever since I received the call that he was gone.  He was such a sweet man that loved his family with all his heart.  In all the years I’ve known him , even when he was a child, I don’t believe I ever saw him without a smile on his face.  He faced the adversity in his life with strength and kept his faith close to his heart.
My prayers go out to his wife Tammy, his mother Mary, his 
children and his siblings.

Joe was my partner in the greatest job either of us ever had.  We complimented each other so well and I  will always remember lunches at In/Out Pizza.  He was like a kid on Christmas when he got homemade jelly!  Joe was very open about his faith and the extreme love he had for his family.  Joe would do anything that was in his power to do for others and truly had a desire to be of service. 
 I hurt for you, his family, as his death is a loss indeed.  Until we are all reunited.
