Jesse J.B. Brown Bales

Jesse “J B” Bales, age 80, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Lakeway Regional Hospital. He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. He retired from Concrete Materials, where he worked for 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawton and Louise Walker Bales; and brother, Donnie Bales. Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Bales; children, Richard (Sheila) Bales of Sneedville, Rita (Greg) Smith of Talbott, Lisa Goins of Morristown; grandchildren, Jesse Lee, Jason, Jamie Bales of Sneedville, Preston Smith of Talbott, Chase Goins and Alexis Wallace of Morristown; an unborn great-grandson; brothers, Clarence (Shirley) Bales of Talbott, Ronnie (Irene) Bales of Morristown; sister, Mary Katherine Murray of Morristown; step-sister, Wilhemenia Greenlee of Talbott; step-mother, Willie Mae Bales of Talbott; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Rev. Kenny Cole will officiate. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Friday for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening prior to the services. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown, Tennessee.
