James Ray Standifer, age 50, of Whitesburg, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020. Preceding him in death was his wife, Debbie Standifer; mother, Brenda Standifer; father, James Herbert Standifer; uncle, Bill Reeves; and grandmother, Leafa Clinton. Survivors include his son, James Standifer Jr; granddaughter, Leaha Standifer; brother, John Standifer; and sister, Alicia Standifer. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Friday by 11:00 a.m. to go in procession to Jarnagin Cemetery for the graveside service, which will be held at 12:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Joe Ballard, Chad Lowe, Tim Rogers, Adam Turner, Michael Seiber, and Steve Buckner.
