Howard Teddy Roach, age 90, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Lakeway Regional Hospital. He is a veteran of WWII and the Korean War and served in the 6th Calvary Army. He is a member of the Disabled Veterans and American Legion. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Flora Roach; brother, Russell Roach; sister, Johnny Sharp; grandson, Gary Dempsey; and great-granddaughter, Nova Johnson. Survivors include his wife, Lena Roach; children, Jane (Stan) Dempsey, Delores Teddy Driver, Louella Roach, Linda (Dwight) Rettkowski, Charles (Catherine) Roach, Elizabeth (David) Hartman, Irene (Jessee) Wolfe; Grandchildren: Greg Dempsey, Randy (Kristen) Driver, Melissa (Thomas) Murray, Jennifer (David) Saunders, Forest, Felicia, and Debbie Rettkowski, Amy (Brandon) Watts, Stacy Roach, Angie (Andrew) Roach, David B. (Michelle) Hartman, Jamie (Joe) Johnson, Dana (Corey) Stannard, Jeremy (Nichole) Hartman, Niki (Greg) Hollaway, Heather Wolfe, Sarah (Mandar) Vengurlaker; Great- Grandchildren: Shelby Jane Dempsey, Michael and Gracie Driver, Paul Wesley Lowe, Jessica Murray, Mystery and Whisper Saunders, Ikaika Hong, Destiny Watts, Chris and Danielle Roach, Kirsten, Ciara, Austin Roach, Taylor, Marci, Misty Mae Hartman, Reverie and Gunner Johnson, Jaxson Crumb, Ethan and Ansley Vengurlaker, and Charlie (Maddie) Bible; sisters, Vida Day and Verla Baird. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Rev. David Marshall will officiate. Interment to follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post #5266. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the services. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home.
