Preacher Harold (Eddie) Hubbard, from Bean Station, TN went to meet his Lord and Savior on Friday, Aug. 30, 2024. Eddie grew up in Norton. VA., with siblings, Reatha Cuthbertson, Charlene Sargeant, Cecil Hubbard, Sue Short, Donna Hall and Samy Hubbard.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Rose Hubbard who held his hand til the very end. Eddie is survived by his children, Jeff Hubbard (Debbie), Wayne Hubbard (Lisa), and Heather Shipman (Troy). He also has grandchildren: Brian, Kari, Sklyar, BJ, Savannah, Aaliyah, and Christian.
Eddie Hubbard was widely known for preaching throughout Bean Station, Morristown and Big Stone Gap, VA. He always carried the Bible,and would preach and talk about Jesus to anyone who listened.
Remembrance services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024 at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Receiving of friends will be from 12 noon until 2:00 PM followed by the service with Pastor Doug Benton from Morristown Baptist Tabernacle officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
