Freida Linkous

Freida Faye “Polly” Linkous, age 74, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord, on Saturday, May 12, 2018. She was of the Church of God faith. Preceding her in death were her parents, Alex and Emma Rouse; sisters, Eva Rouse and Ada Greene; and brother, Otis Rouse.

Survivors include her husband, Stanley Arnold Linkous Sr of Morristown; daughters, Penny Cowan and Lori (Rick) Lawson of Morristown; son, Stanley Arnold (Sheranna) Linkous Jr of Talbott; grandchildren, Trevor and Michiala Lawson, Kiersten McBee, Emilee Conkin; and great-grandchildren, Brody and Emma McBee, Finn Lawson, and Rylee Conkin.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Tony Collins officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Wednesday, May 16 at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. graveside service. Pallbearers will be: Trevor Lawson, Dwayne McBee, Scotty Carpenter, D. J. Lowery, Dale Linkous, Johnny Grooms, and Odie Teague.
