Frank Atkins, age 86, of Morristown, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 28, 2024. He was cared for by his daughter and granddaughter. Frank was saved at a young age in his childhood home.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Arjorie, and children: Wanda and Charles Atkins. Brothers: Daniel, Marshall and Carl Atkins; mother and stepfather: Hazel and Enik Harville and father: Mark Atkins.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Debra Thompson, granddaughter Amanda Johnson (Garrett), great grandchildren: Savannah, Grayson and Neyland. Sisters: Ola Wilson, Merlene Jennings and Brenda Loins and brother, Michael Atkins and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services to follow at 7:00 with Rev. Donald Cox officiating. Family and friends will gather at Hamblen Memory Gardens on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM for graveside services.
