Evelyn G. Stroud, age 55, of Whitesburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. She is preceded in death by her son, Richard “Ricky” Stroud Jr; sister, Julie Jones; and father, Freddy Murdock.
Evelyn is survived by her husband of 36 years, Richard “Rick” Stroud; daughter, Kellie (Jason) Cobb of Morristown; grandchildren, Cael, Ricky and Emmalynn Cobb; mother, Myra Murdock; brother, Richard (Donna) Murdock of Whitesburg; sister-in-law, Susie Stroud of Morristown; brothers-in-law, Charles (Sandy) Stroud of Mohawk, Tim (Kim) Stroud of Russellville and James Jones of Whitesburg; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 2:15 p.m. for a graveside service at 2:30 p.m.
