Emma Paralee Price

Emma Price, age 84, of Louisville, TN, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Colonial Heights Nursing Center of Maryville surrounded by family. She was born on August 7, 1927 in Rogersville, TN. She was a member of Madison Avenue Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Price; parents, Arthur and Virginia Miner; and sister, Ruth Trent.

Survivors include her son and his wife, Don and Pon Price of Louisville, TN; daughter and her husband, Cathy and Al Karst of Prattville, AL; grandchildren, Glen (Amy) Price, Matthew (Jennifer) Price, Camille Karst, Angela Price; great-grandchildren, Emma Price, William Price, Yvonne Price; brother, Reed (Agnes) Miner; sisters, Shirley (John) Warner, Louise Davis; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 28 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Rev. George “Fuzz” Bradley will officiate. Family and friends will meet at 10:50 a.m. on Thursday in Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Pallbearers will be Gerald Trent, Ira Davis, Tim Allen, Kent Allen, Glen Price, and Matt Price. Honorary pallbearer will be Randall Price. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening prior to the services.
