Elga "Colleen" Phillips

Elga “Colleen” Phillips passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Tennova Hospital. She was 77. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Phillips; and by her parents, Leonard and Minnie Lawson; brother, James Lawson.

Colleen was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend to all who knew her and will be missed very much. She is survived by her son, Jessie (Barbara) Brooks; daughters, Pam (Don) Foster and Darla (Mike) Orrick. Her grandchildren are Timothy (Stephanie) Murr, Rusty (Catherine) Murr, Bradley Murr, Shelby Brooks, Emily Brooks, Erin Foster, Jesse (Allison) Orrick, Rachel (Steven) Orrick, and Olivia Orrick. She also leaves several great-grandchildren, Town, Logan, Sidney, Griffin, Blakely, Skylar, Marlee, Gavin, and Wyatt. Brothers, Les (Pam) Lawson and Doyle (Suzanne) Lawson. And several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 14 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Pastor Bryan Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
