Edith Stump

Edith Marie Hickman Stump, age 72, of Bean Station, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. She was a member of Compassion Church of Morristown. She was loved by all and will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hazel Hickman; sister, Geraldine McCoy; and brothers, Charles, Jack, James, Doris and John David Hickman. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Daris Stump; son, Jack Stump; daughter, Jill (Mitch) Fannin; grandchildren, Jarrad (Amanda) Stump, Ryan (Kady) Fannin, Somer Fannin; great-grandchildren, Jesse Stump, Stella Blu Fannin; sisters, Janice Archer, Laura Dotson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Fred Killman and Rev. Mitch Bowling officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7:00 p.m. prior to the services. A private entombment will be held later. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
