Edith Moyers

Edith M. Moyers, age 83, of Morristown, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She attended Roe Junction Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Shorty” Moyers; daughter, Kathy Marie Carter; and parents, Floyd and Tropha Moyers. Survivors include her daughters, Shirley, Brenda, and Mary Moyers; son, David Moyers; sister, Lorraine Greene; and a niece and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul Cemetery. Rev. Gregg Ellison will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 – 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
