I’m sorry to hear the news about my friend
 Ed Bradley .  I met him in 2010 when I was stationed in the Fall Branch district with 
The Tennessee Highway Patrol. Being a radio hobbyist myself , I met Ed one day when I observed a Nissan Altima he was driving full of radio gear and more antennas than I’d ever seen on one car . We immediately became friends and he encouraged me to study for  my entry level Ham Radio technician license  , offered help , invited to his home , and was great influence. I did pass my test several months later !! Ed and I would meet for lunch occasionally in 
Bean Station while I was on duty or I would visit him at his home on or off duty .  He was a friend to all , a very Godly man and always shared his faith in Christ with those around him .  I hadn’t heard back from Ed in a few months , and while I was visiting the area yesterday from Manchester , Tennessee where I’ve lived now for several years , I was unable to reach him by phone , so i did some online searching and learned the news . You are loved and missed Ed .

I'm so sorry to hear about Ed's passing. He was always a good friend to my dad. The rest of us also loved to see him as well.

I've known Ed for quite a while through our mutual love of amateur radio.  He was a fine radio operator with whom I conversed almost weekly on the Amateur Radio Missionary Service (ARMS) net on 3.902 MHz on the 75 meter band.  I also met him in person numerous times during our ARMS get togethers at various location in the Southeast.  Ed was a very gentle and humble man, and his humility showed by the way he carried himself and the way he talked with people.  I've often thought to myself, when I grow up I want to be like that and imitate him insofar as he imitated Jesus Christ!  Most importantly, he personally knew (and still knows!) and followed the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of his life.  I'm thankful that he is now in His presence for now and all eternity.  Our loss of him here is indeed heavens gain.  Condolences to the family for a life well lived.  

Shirley, my wife, and I met Ed after his shift at the radio station for lunch pretty much every Sunday before COVID.   What a great guy! 
 Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend his services.

Visits and memories, that is.  And that we had come up more often.  So thankful for the time we had, the long phone calls, the visits we did make, the times he came to Orlando.  The memories will have to hold us until we see you again in Heaven, Bo-Bo.  Love you so much.  Rich & Kathy

This picture was given me by Bo, taken during one of his "Ham" times with friends from all over.  From helping NOAA with bad weather to just checking in on friends during the day, Bo was a friend to so many and the best brother anyone could ask for.   Love you always, Bo.  Kathy

Whether walking with Rich and me (I took the picture!) on our visit to TN or spending time with his family who live so close around him, he was a wonderful, Godly man - brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend - we will miss him so very much!  

He walked me down the aisle in 1988 because dad had died the year before.  I couldn't have been more thankful and happy that he honored me by doing that.  Such a wonderful brother who loved the Lord and always had a kind word for others.  Remembering your visit to Orlando in July 2012 - we went to Titusville where this was taken on a bridge.  Visited Rich's Mom & Pop where Jon joined us for lunch.

Jon spent the summer with Bo, Julie, Cassie and the rest of the family in Tennessee.  It was a special time in Jon's life as Bo (along with Eddie) spoke to Jon about the possibility of a future in the armed services.  We are ever grateful for your Godly input into his life, my brother!

Ed has always been a blessing and has encouraged so many with his unique voice and personality !! He enjoyed the Sunday morning broadcasts and he Loved the Lord and the Children of God!!!  He will be greatly missed !!!! RIP .   Rev . Roger Trent 

Ed was a true brother in Christ. A witness where ever he went. Will miss hearing you on the ARMS net. Ed is experiencing his eternal life with his Savior and Lord.  
I pray for comfort for the family during this time knowing that absent from the body is present with the Lord. 

I'm sorry I knew Ed was a great family man and a Child of God. Every time I have seen Ed he was always a distinguished gentleman. God bless all family and friends, love you Eddie my brother.

My uncle Bo was one of the kindest ,good hearted , gentle people I ever knew. It always gave him great joy knowing my late son was named Bradley. He was welcomed into the Father’s House with appreciation for his  good and faithful service . We can hope to lead such a life. Missing you till we come together again for eternity. Well into his 70s, Mr. Bradley would call you over: "Hey, check out my new cell phone!  Look what it can do...."  He never lost his playful exuberance for technology.  He was a joyful presence at the radio station for so many years.  Rest in peace.  

I’ll always remember ole Ed’s smile and friendly attitude while he was volunteering and running the Ham radios at the National Weather Service office in Morristown TN.  I had let my Ham license run out years ago and Ed always encouraged me to get back into it.  Oddly, at the last minute I decided to go over to Sevierville and take my Technician test on Thursday 10/20/22.  I talked with the folks giving the exam about Ed while I was there.
He’ll be missed at the NWS.
