Duane Keith Shockley

Duane K. Shockley, age 56, of Dandridge, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at his residence. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Whitesburg and worked at Press Inc. for 11 years. He was a veteran of the U S Army. He was preceded in death by his father, Ulous Shockley; daughter, Tara Shockley; and brother-in-law, Clifford Sopshier. Survivors include his children, Jason Shockley, Amanda (Bradley) Russell, and Taylor (Jessica) Shockley; grandchildren, Connor Ray, Emily Smith, Dylan Hopson, JJ, Jaden, and Ashton Russell; mother, Edna Shockley; brothers, Doug (Renee) Shockley, Don (Karen) Shockley, David Shockley; sister, Darlene Sopshier; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and many friends. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 16th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Leroy Davis and Rev. Charlie Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 15th from 5 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
