Doris Joann Day Boyer, age 85, of Morristown, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015. She was of the Baptist faith. She was retired from Quincey’s Steakhouse. She was preceded in death by her parents, A. J. “Otto” and Jennie Day of Hancock County; three sisters; and six brothers. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Barry Russell, Rita and Ron Epperson, Kathryn and David Harrell; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Amy Garland, Philip and Shannon Garland; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Family and friends will meet at Adriel Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 1:45 p.m. for a graveside service to be held at 2:00 p.m. Stubblefield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
