Clarence Keith Burgin

CLARENCE KEITH BURGIN, age 75 passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He was member of Calvary Baptist Church. He served our country in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. Ed and Jessie Burgin; and sister, Marlene Burgin.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Peggy (Greene) Burgin; sons, Gordon (Barbara) Burgin and Jeff (Donna) Burgin; daughter, Tracey (Jeff) Snowden; grandchildren, Bryan (Jennifer) Burgin, Chad (Ashley) Burgin, Brad Burgin, Stefanie (Brandon) Hall, Brittney Harmon, Jared and Shelby Snowden and eight great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend appreciation to Smoky Mountain Hospice, Dr. David Johnson, Dr. Ernesto Mejia, Dr. Ramaprasad and special caregiver, Gloria Shelton.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Parrott officiating. Family and Friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, September 20 in Hamblen Memory Gardens for a 1:00 p.m. Military graveside service with VFW Post #5266 officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown.
