Clara Mae Hurst

CLARA MAE HURST, age 76, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 4, in Dandridge, TN. She was a member of Fernwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. J. H. Hurst; and parents, Ralph and Janie Spurgeon. Survivors include her children, Raymond (Terri) Hurst, Roger (Suzanne) Hurst, Dale (Carla) Hurst, Dorothy (Mike) Brotherton, and Lisa Parker; grandchildren, Nick and Becky Hurst, Lucas and Tonya Hurst, Leslie and Scottie Renner, Rachel and Derek Hurst, Elizabeth Brotherton, and Landon and Devin Parker; great-grandchildren, Dru, Daegen, and Chloe Hurst, Addison Renner, and Alexis Parker; brother, Ralph Spurgeon Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Friday, April 6, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Sonny Davis officiating. Family and friends will meet in Butcher Valley Church Cemetery in Rogersville at 10:50 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 – 8:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown, Tennessee.
