Charlie Luther Emmett Rines, age 89, of Morristown, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith and served in the US Army in Korea. Preceding him death were his sons, Michael and Emmett Eugene Rines; and his father, Eulice Rines. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mary Nell Rines; daughter, Vicky (Russ) Knight; and grandchildren, Hailey and Brandon Knight, and Amanda Blair. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Sunday, December 10 from 5 – 7:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. The Rev. Mike Taylor will officiate. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Monday morning at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
