Charles Buddy Grant Fletcher

Charles (Buddy) Grant Fletcher, age 74 of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at his residence. Buddy was a member and a Deacon of Valley View Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth “Bud” and Letha Fletcher; and brother, Kenneth “Duke” Fletcher.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy Byrd Fletcher; daughters, Angie (Roger) Porter, Tammy Lynn Fletcher, and Christy (Kris) Kibodeaux; grandchildren, Chasity (Derrek) Wolfe, Chelsey (Adam) Holt, Fletcher (Ashlee) Porter, Kassi (Hunter) Yount, Shawna (Caleb) Alder, Charli (Robert) Smith, Maelynn and Grant Kibodeaux; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Payson and Christian Holt, Liam Gavin and Cambryn Wolfe, Haiden, Jase and Baylor Porter, Peyton and Brycen Alder, and Isabella Yount; sisters, Sara Fletcher Livesay and Irene (Ronnie) Bales; brother-in-law, Roger Byrd; sister-in-law, Sharon Byrd; as well as several nieces, nephews and host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 4 – 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Roger Porter and Rev. Troy White officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, February 4 in Hamblen Memory Gardens for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service.
