Carson Hobert Carpenter

Carson H. Carpenter age 89, of Morristown went to be with the Lord at 8:30 AM on 3/8/19. Carson was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, he retired from Sterling Engineering in 1994. The family will receive friends at Stubblefield Funeral Home from 5-7 Mon. 3/11/19. Funeral Services will be held at Stubblefield Funeral Home on Tuesday 3/12/19 at 2:00PM with Rev. Ray Pratt and Rev. Larry Parrott officiating. Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. Carson is proceeded in death by his parents Will & Mertie Carpenter, daughter Caron Carpenter. Siblings Herbert, Hubert, Odell, Ralph, Kyle, Hazel, Bonnie and Sarah and grandson Cody Adkins. Carson is survived by his wife Mary “Squeaky” Carpenter, daughters Kathy (Claud) Hawkins, Patty (Ronnie) Holder, Lisa (Ted) Adkins. Siblings Major Carpenter, Edna Yount, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, including his special caregivers Brenda (Orville) Stump. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Horner and his staff. The nurses on the oncology floor at Morristown Hamblen Hospital, and to Avalon Hospice. Especially to Carson’s nurses Pam & Sherry, you both have made this journey much easier on all involved. We thank you and love you for your service and dedication.
