Carl Franklin Jones

Carl F. Jones, age 78, of Bean Station, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 18, 2015 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Allen and Beuna Jones; and brother, Ralph Vincen Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mildred Hope Jones; children, Vincen Allen Jones and wife, Robin, Carlena Hope Jones Alder, and husband Shane; grandchildren, Emily Brianna Jones Kosiewska and husband, Justin, Zachary Allen Jones, Azlinn Hope Alder, and Alexandria Nicole Alder; sister, Janie Allen Jones Harbor; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 20th at 8:00 p.m. at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Beeler and Rev. Earl Cummings officiating. Family and friends will meet on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home to go in procession to Harrell Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at the church from 6 – 8:00 p.m. prior to the services.
