Burton Wayne Davis

Burton Wayne Davis, age 84, born June 17, 1935, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at his home in Russellville. Wayne was a 50 year member of the Warrensburg Masonic Lodge #631. Preceding him in death were his parents, Herbert and Margaret Sawyer Davis; brothers, Joseph and Ronald Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty Anne Buckner Davis; son, Kennith William (Leslie) Davis; grandsons, William Scott (Jess) Davis and Aaron Lee Davis; great-grandsons who made his long days of failing health a little brighter, Will and Jake Davis; sister, Carolyn Davis Cook of Ft Worth, Texas; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Roger and Carolyn Buckner, Dennis and Alta Wilkerson, and Barbara Davis.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 at 1:00 pm in Hamblen Memory Gardens. Wayne’s nephew, Matthew Wilkerson, will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the charity of your choice.
